First timer here. Got some equipment from a friend.
I'm planning on trying a grow similar to this one by Heath Robinson:

I looked through the thread but couldn't find any specifics for the type of fans he uses. Sorry if I missed it somewhere. I've got (3) 600w's, a 10' tent, and some Earthtainer "soilponic" tubs.
Questions:
Will I need 2,000 cfm total to keep this box cool? I've been looking at the Max-Fan 1700cfm fans..will this be large enough to cool the tent? Could I get a smaller fan if I used a small A/C unit? How loud will this all be? Are duct mufflers effective?
Are there any cheaper (good) alternatives to the $500 carbon scrubbers that are rated for that size fan? Will I regret not paying up and getting a large one? I need to get rid of at least 90% of the odor.
Can anyone recommend a good CO2 system for this size setup? How much on average does CO2 increase one's yield if used effectively?
Any help would be immensely appreciated. Thank you.
