Maybe not the right section to get an answer because you are in the LED corner. I would ask the same in the standard hps/cmh area.
From my point of view you already use cmh so why not use more of them? They are more efficient and save you some electricity compared to 2 hps/mh bulbs. They also have an effect on bud quality because there is a little UVA in their spectrum. For me it sounds like a logical step ..
BUT, you could also add some LED's. 4ft. double row F-strips from Samsung are 100-150w strips. You could use 2-4 of these strips along each cmh fixture to increase the footprints and close the gap between the two bulps. Each of these strips is comparable to a quantumboard v1 to give you an idea of their intensity. You get them from digikey for around 55$ each and you can use a 40x 40x 40mm aluminum c-channel in 4ft. length to mount and cool these strips in the same time. Instead of a ballast you need a LED driver. For 4-6 strips in parallel you could use a Meanwell HLG-600H-48A(build in dimmer, 50-100%) or B( dimmable down to off via external 100k potentiometer). That's up to 650w and efficiency would be ~2,3μMol/J. That's 1500μMol/s PPF to play with...and they last at least 5-7 years and still deliver 90% of the initial output. No need to change anything for years...
You've ventured into the LED corner, mate, something like that you have to expect here, lol!
But seriously though, it would be the most profitable solution and would likely double your yields with just the energy consumption of two additional 315w cmh lights.
Just my 2ct's...
