Adding Ingredients To Coconut Oil

I am wondering if any of you folks add anything other than cannabis when making infused oil?
There are other herbs and substances I take and it seem like it would work well to add them to infused oil and take them along with that.
Do any of you folks do anything like that?
As natural as all of this is, we are still combining chemicals. Some chemical change when they interact. Others are unchanged.
The first thing I would add is garlic. Dandelion is another. Cinnamon and ginger are also good.
Mainly I don't want to compromise the cannabinoids.

Any thoughts on this?

I added 7/10th of a gram of my bho to 14 liquid oz of coconut oil and 14 gram of my bud, on my last batch and I feel it gave a more terp. taste to it. As well as blasting me off into space LOL:eyesmoke:

Hay Great Question, you can Infuse any herbs that you like really. Acids break down the fats-(eventually) compromising the thc quality. I have been successful infusing garlic, or lemon-using peel, and have not noticed any reduction in potency. herbs can be tricky just because of flavor profiles, rosemary is very strong, for example, and some people don't like the combo.

I know some people add lecithin...but I don't know how much. Supposed to aid in absorption.

I've used it, the lecithin is supposed to help the infusion, and you don't need to add a lot if your infusing butter, a couple table spoons will do the job- per cup . I've made vape oil with strait lecithin, which worked fairly well
