Added Lime and Ph Went Up

Maybe i have a poor Ph meter - its one you just stick in the ground from lowes, bt it seemed to go up

It shoulda only went up if your ph was below 7 before...I've nvr been a fan of those types of meter cause I feel like u can't get a good reading...either invest in a better way to check ur ph or don't worry bout it cause lime will take it to a neutral 7

If it were me I woulda left it alone at 6. Lime is used to decrease the acidic's in your soil which would increase your ph

How much did u add?

A Fair amount - handful maybe. Its a 5 gallon bucket but my premixed stuff was closer to the high 5s and i thought optimal Ph for soil was like 6.7?

I'm thinking Mg deficiency or nut lockout due to the pH being way too low. Sorry for all the newb prancing around the forum and such.
