Actual time to complete?

I've been reading on the forums for some time now, and the way i understand it, correct me if im wrong... is that every strain has a different maturation rate(overstating the obvious i know but bear with me)

so on seed sites like nirvana they have flowering date frames that gives you numbers like flowering: 6/8 weeks 8/9 weeks... im assuming the harvest month is numerically represented in date format: harvest month: 9/10 means sept or oct (if you grow outside assumingly)

so what im asking is.... what is the average time it takes to compelte if you have to veg for 6-10 weeks depending on strain.......... then cure it for another month? about 3 months you would say at least????

When it's in weeks, that's for indoor. The month is for outdoor. They obviously correspond.

Not that many people veg for more than 6 weeks (since most people indoors need to keep it at least somewhat small). And I'd say average is more like 4 weeks veg. So:
4 weeks veg + 10 weeks flowering (depends highly on strain) + 4 weeks to cure and dry = 18 weeks, 4 months. You can cut that down to 12 weeks if you really want to (2 veg + 8 flower + 2 dry/cure) but that will likely decrease yield (veg is too short) and quality (curing is too short).

Yea...9 or 10 weeks is average for flowering. Look at some seedbanks. 'Early' strains are 6-8 weeks flowering, and pure Sativas can be 13+ weeks, and of course there's everything in between.
