Acording To CNN

According to CNN the first use of Medical Marijuana was in the 1840s in India. (wrong - earliest evidence of medicinal use is from ancient china found in the terra-cotta army in a shamans kit with other medicines)

In 1937 the Marijuana Tax Act Passed, 1$ an ounce for medicinal use and 100$ an ounce for recreational use and all was fine and dandy according to CNN. It wasn't until 1971 when cannabis became illegal according to CNN.

So which is it...Does CNN get their facts from wikipedia or do they have an alternate motive? (See SIG)
