Accidently crossbred lowryder strains a while back, grew the resulting seeds...

a couple months ago i accidently let a male Lowryder "purple jems" pollinate a small crop of Easyryders and other Purple jems, so i decided to grow the seeds, so far just the ones i picked out of the easyryders. so a cross between the two.

these two are about 58 days old and in 1gal "smartpots", most of my autos i harvest between 65-70. i grow them under 23w cfls and fit 9-16 plants under 20 bulbs.



got about 14 more about 2-3weeks old, sorting through males as they pop up and replacing with new seeds. ended up with half a sandwhich bag fuil of seeds from 8 small plants.




errr, not sure why that last one got flipped up side down...

hopin they turn out to be some good smoke, some of my purple jems got REALLY purple, not sure if that will be passed on to these

looking good! what do you yield from the easyryders in 1 gallon pots usually?

yea they auto'd right on time, started showing sex around day 19 after seed.

this is first go with the 1 gal pots, usually do 2gal and get about 7-10g from a typical small(12-14in) single cola plant in 2x3 space with 20 CFL's (~30,00lumens), and i can always fit atleast 12 2gal pots in there.

Great! You seem to be hooked up for quite some time.....I don't know what you're growing under but your yeild is a bit low....I just harvested 1 lowryder 2, got 102g wet...drying now...usually ends up with 30-35g dry.......I use a 550w hps in a tent with Bio-Bizz nutes. Invest in some hps and you won't have to grow as many small ones.....

Edit; Sorry didn't notice you're using cfl....

yeah i have a 600w hps i initially got for my autos but... i grow these under my "bed" with about 40" of height... that 600w heated it up to over 90 degrees when sealed up. so i had to switch back... shame tho cuz for the month or so i had it under there i had MUCH more vigorous growth, but i had to leave all the doors open so it wasnt a good option.

but i just got a 3x3 grow tent set up to use the hps for non-autos... thats going pretty good.

I, too, have a 3x3 grow tent .....I use 12/12 on my autos as I also have non af going in the same tent......throw an auto in your tent and watch how it'll love it!
