Accidental supercrop

I accidentally bent one of my branches. How long does it take to recover my plant is a week or more into flower.

2-3 days. Are you giving it nutes or anything? What type of soil are you using?

did it break?...if not it will recover very quickly

The other day a buddy of mine called me up in a panic. He'd droped something on his plant and one of the 2 main colas snapped nearly in half. I came over to look and promptly snapped the other cola in half to match lol. Of course I explained what super cropping was and why its good first. Usually you don't want to supercrop in flowering as it diverts energy away from bud production and into healing, but your plant should be fine in my opinion. Recovery time is usually about a week before its fully healed over

No just bent I had to bend it back though lol. Its in soil and I gave it nutes two days ago.

Duct tape the break and support it with some bamboo and it will be the biggest cola on the plant in time.

I used a couple heavy duty toothpicks and some of the 8" wire ties, good to go in less than 3 days:

No need to "fix" a super crop. The plant will do so it's self. Check out my Grow Journal in my signature to see what I mean

Depending on your conditions and overall health of your plant, it can take 1-3 days for the bend to begin to correct itself. I try to get at the girls early; allowing time for healing and new growth, to get them as wide as they'll get tall. Everything I do is super cropped and fimmed/topped. Granted, a plant has a genetic "yield limit" eg; it won't produce more than it's destined to. It's our job as growers to get as much as possible out of our ladies and LST, topping and super cropping have been AMAZING! EVEN IN FLOWER! Although, you want to do the super cropping early into flower {first 3-4 weeks} because it does slow the process due to healing. However, I've done side by side comparisons using same and different strains and I find the super cropped colas are denser, thicker and bigger. If it does break completely in half {barely hanging by a thread} you might be able to tape it or your idea was great as well. If it's a long piece that breaks off, you could clone it; even if it's a couple of weeks into flower. Nip off the buds and the light change will snap it back; not if in late flower {impossible}.

Exactly, I accidentally super cropped my tallest sativa and it recovered and still grew a shit load. Hopefully it's done and will start producing hairs at her bud sits soon
Also, some cut the tops of, root them and you got a topped plant with more colas for the future

I repaired mine, because it was a pretty nasty snap and it brought that cola below all of the rest.

That said, the recovery was pretty good with my little splint, here is a pic of the "wound"

And the (only 25 days from flip) bud it is supporting, just over 11" so
