I remain full strength until last week. Then I just use water. BUT THATS NOT BECAUSE OF EXCESS FOOD TO RUN OFF. I do it because it’s the last week and I saving on my bottled nutrition rather than the soil saving it. But you can run until the end. Always keep you plant fed till you kill lol

I don’t smoke the roots. I’m sure even flushing for two weeks doesn’t pull it out of the buds. I haven’t found any diff either. Would love to see a full picture of the plant. I just plan on when their ready to harvest to not do it right after a feed week but on a water only week. If still white pistols I’m sure u have 4 weeks left

Your plant should be trying to swell up those bracts(calyxs) right now and be putting on weight from added density. It likely has another 2ish weeks to go. When you do look at the trichomes make sure you look at the buds not the leaves, and look at several places around the plant, not just the top cola. You want the whole plant to reach maturity. Handling buds or trichomes getting damaged will make them turn amber prematurely as well.
Why does it not take up water or is it just doing slowly?

Its likely just slowed its uptake, not stopped completely. However it also isn't growing as much fresh new growth, but rather doing work internally which likely requires less water. Reduced water consumption is definitely normal as you get near the end.
