my seeds are germinating - out comes the sprout

i am gonna plant very soon, but i am wondering;

is the sprout part of the root or part of the stem

dont want to plant upside down

that isn;t a sprout, that;s a tap root, plant it down or sideways works. the sprout is the first growth that breaks the surface after you planted the seed.

yup you plant the round side up

yup you plant the round side up and the little white root should be facing down. just poke a whole about an inch/ half an inch deep with a pencil and put the seed in cover it up gently with some soil
