About Flushing.

Tell me if I've got this right..

2 weeks before harvest, you're supposed to soak water (at the proper ph) right through your plants and let it drain.

Then, don't give it anymore fertilizer whatsoever.. just plain water..

Is that right?
Should you stop using molasses too?
It really seems like the plant would yellow and die. Plus, that's not too much water when you soak it right through your plant like that? Just seems weird to me.

Thats sounds about right brotha..your plants should be reaching the last stages of its life so you should and would probably yellowing leaves and thats ok...no molasses either...just plain ol ph'd water...your plants end up using the last of the nutes and subsequently your plants are nice and "clean" and not filled with chemys...nice even burn...

The last few weeks of her life is when she really starts to pack on extra weight and fill out like crazy. This is what you do ~

Start pouring water in the container until it comes out the bottom (flushing) wait 15 mins then flush again (one gallon of water each time) then wait a few minutes and flush again. The reason you are giving some time in between flushes is so the salt build up can break down and be flushed away from roots.
Ok last gallon add 2 TBL of Molases and everytime you water add 2 Tbl molases.
That will give her something to eat in this critical time and without leaving any trace of nutes, sugars, taste, etc.

Yeah well I tell you what, one must experiment to see what works in one's garden.
Once I started useing Molases my yeilds went up 20% easy.
I went from 3-4 oz per plant to 5-7.5 per plant.
Just harvested Turkey Day.

goldenganja.. do you have any pics of your harvest? What was your setup like? I'm going to try your method of molasses. I'm sure it'll work out. Thanks so much for the info
