? about flowering time +rep

ok im growing with cfls and wen im going to flower i am alwayz wondering u know how it sayz for example it says 9 weeks flowering time right, does it mean 9 weeks with cfls too or just on hps light????? do i have to put out the same lumens as the hps light for it can b the same????? +rep

the more lumens the bigger the plant and buds but the flowering time should still be the same no matter what lights you use.(give or take a few days)

they don't usually specify ..

Though metal halide is usually for veg, hps for flowering.

i really dont think that time applies to cfls its actually usually long even with hps...

The time is just an estimate... when 60-75% of the hairs have turned color, then this would be a good time to harvest.

yeah i no about the triclomes i wnt the couchlock so i want all amber trichlomes

it will take about the same amount of time, maybe a 4 days to a week faster with the hps, ive never done a side by side but using the hps you will have a much larger yield

what he said, and I'll add buy a mic cause it makes a lot of difference in when you'll harvest. Harvesting early and harvesting late both have benefits and drawback. See if someone can lead you to a link explaining both, sorry I'm new here so I have no idea where you'd find it other than the search button.

And I just posted harvest pics (kinda, lol) in my journal if you like looking at all amber trich's, requested by the patient
