im wanting to clone my plants no as they are big enough but before doing im wanting to know will they be ok under a 600w lamp if so what is the ideal lamp distance for these or will i need a smaller lamp

start the distance at 2 feet for a week... then lower accordingly...

if they show signs of heat stress...

I had my 600 at about 8" during flower.. but i wouldn't go closer than a foot if you don't have good air circulation

clones no way 600.

use a cfl for clones, read the growfaqs

clones are very sensitive to light.

There are many ways to grow clones. The simplest way is to buy a 25 spot Jiffy Peat light box. The one with the cover. Is cost about $4 at a big box store. Presoak the peat plugs with ph adjusted water. Cut you clones and stick them in root gel or root powder. Make a whole in a peat plug with a pencil. Stick a dusted clone in the center and squeeze the plug around it.
You will fill a box of 25 in no time. If the clone has larger leaves trim them to a total size of about equal to a silver dollar, this will accelerate rooting.

I have used this method and had all 25 take root in two weeks. I use a CFL over my clones and mist frequently the first few days.

i put my clones in the jiffy box with the clear plastic cover over them .. then put them under 3 cfl lights about 6 above the clones and they dropped done and died after 2 days.. and i mistyed them frequently... and it was nice and humid in there

eventhough clones dont have roots,by u constantly misting them your not allowing them to dry out alittle.mist them once a day and leave them in the humidity dome,if the humidity dome has droplets on it then u dont need to mist,i mist once a day and get 100%success,its that u want them to be encouraged to seek out roots and by keeping them misted ur making them feed by foliar and not really tryin to make roots.a few times i kept my clones constantly misted and two weeks later after bein cut off the mother, they would die off.its when they died,is when i cut back on misting, ive even had success with harder plants like a lilac witch is now throwing roots out.its my opinion that worked for me,maybe if u try it,it might work and might not.i also have them 2ft away from a 125w 6500k cfl wit a mogul base.it keeps the temp about 75 with 75% humidity level, its when i mist that makes it 100%humid.some ppl find it easier to do things a certain way and others will swear up and down that there is only one way to go.all im saying is with time and patience is when you will find a way that works for you.dont give up just keep hope, and one day you will enter your grow room and see that they have roots.it still gives me the giggles when i see them root.ive been growing since 2002 and ive been researching for years aproximatly 10yrs.
ps im 18 almost 19,seems young but im 100%serious,and im not a punk grower,i do it for the fun and excitement and plus its free smoke.my parents are real cool about it aswell.my mom cant wait till i harvest my current grow btw.

keep your head up and hope that today will be the day that u see roots.

Way too much heat. Next time use 1 CFL.
