about 25 days in, currently using ONE 33 watt CFL (150watt replacement) 3000k

Well, it is 22 days old today, 10-23-2010, i have one 3000k 33watt(150watt replacement) CFL on it... but i have some problems to work out, the stems are slightly purple, and the leaves are browning, as well as pointing upward, and withering..
getting another CFL in a few days

Bro. You definitely need more than one light. you have 3000 lumen on it but you should probably have 8-10k lumen on it. I would suggest two more 33 watt bulbs or a couple of 42 watt bulbs. Last time my friend grew with not nearly enough light and the buds are really undense so good luck, but more lights for sure.
 
16,000 lumens is usual for a plant, thats why your buddy's stretching so much. you should def invest in some extra lights or your yield may be non existant! you can buy 4 packs of 6500K 23w CFL from home depot for $10. one of those bulbs is 1610 lumens, so $20 gets you 8 bulbs for a total of 12,800 lumens which isnt the best but def better than one bulb! good luck!
