When it comes down to it, if my soil mixture is too weak the ladies let me know in veg with obvious deficiencies of all sorts. But if it is strong enough they will love the LED light.

I went and got some dolomite lime and had a look for anything like cal mag but couldn't find any, did find epsom salt though.
I mixed some dolomite lime in a litre of water and shook it up and seemed some had dissolved so fed it to my plant like that and sprinkled some more into the soil.
If I put some dolomite lime into my next grow soil I shouldn't have problems with cal mag deficiency right?
And it will be a good buffer for Ph.

It my be that calcium was locked out because the ph was low. Nutrient lockouts often occur when ph gets out of range. Your runoff should be closer to 7 than to 5. You may not need to use anything special on your next grow if you start with and keep the ph within normal ranges.

too much potassium and / or magnesium can cause calcium lockout too.

Yes that's what I thought it might be.
I've added that dolomite lime and will keep next waterings up a bit higher Ph.
Next grow will be whole new range of nutes so shouldn't have a problem.

Just a heads up about epsom salts. It is water soluble so a small amount will send your ppm sky high. It is a great nutrient for cannabis but very easy to overdo it. If you have a ppm meter you can control it they are only 15 bux on Amazon.

Hi, first I wanna say thanks for all the info.. I appreciate it.
I didn't end up buying the epsom salt just the dolomite lime.
I will mix it into my next grow soil before I start it. Not sure at what ratio though.
I mixed and fed some with water into my current grow to try fix Ph and deficiency but not sure it will work fast enough.
