I have an odd situation over here. I am fairly familiar with growing vegetables, and have seen most nutrient deficiencies, but could be mistaken. I have an aeroponics system operating at 6.0-6.1 pH and 1300 ppm. It stays between 75 and 80 in the room. Not only do I have an air conditioning inlet into the room, but two fans to keep the airflow kosher. I have recently started to foliar feed with aerated worm compost tea at 400 ppm. After the first feed, I noticed that the new leaves were yellow and then turned to green. I fed them again, thinking that it was a nutrient deficency, but it just made it worse. They are growing super fast, perhaps a couple of inches per day. I spoke with a friend at a local nursery and he said that perhaps I was foliar feeding too much, and that I am forcing the plants to grow faster than it can manufacture chlorophyll. This seems reasonable, and is easy to fix. I wanted to post this to get some other ideas about what it might be. The plants look great otherwise, it is almost 6 weeks old and roughly a foot tall. They are dark and bushy, and have stems roughly as big around as my pinky. Please let me know what you think.
