oh no. So Cal had major fires this year. they are starting to prepare for major landslides due to lack of vegetation.

AAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!

sitting here with the family having breakfast and BOOM!!!!! the whole house shakes for 5 seconds. then the sky just opens up with penny sized raindrops. i had PTSD flashbacks from the loma preata earthquake. i hate that sound. so there's huge lightning flashes and hella loud thunder and the wife sends me out to get firewood. i almost got hit from that last strike. i'm scared and my kitty is freaked out.

I really miss living in Tomales, we always cruised down to Dillon Beach when the weather got rough...love the NorCal winter weather!!

what? i went to high school in tomales. grew up on a salmon boat out of bodega bay.

I lived in Yosemite Ntl. Park for about a year, and let me tell you it can snow like you wouldn't believe up there! Interestingly enough, the friend I have who has lived in Yosemite for more than 15 years, is now in the El Paso Tx area where I am to meet him in a few days. Things are windy and warm here in Colorado so I can't really relate to the chaos that is ongoing in CA currently.
