any tips for helping along a troublesome seed?

i've had this seed in moist paper towel for days now, the 4 others have sprouted and have leaves already, is there anything i can do aside form wait?
is there anything i definetely should not do?

depending on how long the seeds been in there its more than likeley dead if after 4-5 days it hast cracked at all

could try rolling it under your finger on some sandpaper or concrete to take the shine off it.
or soak it in water overnight and see if that helps, it should sink if waters getting into it.
sometimes they just dont grow, ive got a batch of seeds here that all look like good seeds but havent gotten any of them to sprout yet no matter what ive tried.

Usually after about a week of waiting for a seed to sprout, I take a small tack hammer and give the seed a good solid blow. It doesnt do much for the seed, but I usually feel much better.

Some seeds form without fertilization. Think of it like an egg. Looks like a chicken could be born, but no, its just an egg.
