A rookie with his 6ft'ers !

Hey there! iv been reading this forum for a while now and have finally signed up!.. and also come along with some questions i need to ask too, i was given 4 lemon haze seeds of a friend a while back now and planted them outdoors somewere and never thought anything of it, a week or 2 passes by and i notice these babies are growing so i take care of them. They prob vegged for a good 8-10 weeks:neutral: untill i thought hang on a sec, these look kinda good!,
So i set up an indoor setup somewere out of the way, with a 400W HPS light, and a fan etc etc, I have been feeding them with Cha-Ching, Orlando Morbloom and Bud Blood! I topped these a while back to stunt there growth, but they have all turned into a V shape with 2 more main nodes on top.
These are now 6 ft in height!! am looking for some guidence on how much i should be watering them and often and how much of nutrience i should be giving them, given the Size of these MotherFu***** now!

Kool man sounds like you got some monsters on your hands. First off how big is the pot that you have them in? A 6 fter is going to need alot of root room. I really cants say how often cause im not in your shoes. But I would just go by when the pot gets much lighter than it normally is. Good Luck. And welcome to RIU. STAY HIGH!!!

I feel Welcomed! :D.. Hmmm i think there 6-8 litre pot's ? there quite big to be honest, which is why i think they have gone so HUGE and stink of lemons lol.. Is the Nutrient's am giving them enough? iv had them on 12-12 for about 3 weeks now , and there is some nice budding coming on!

hey man i had the same problem my first grow, just grew them straight up like they would naturally. Ever since I heard of LST i cannot stop doing it, check it out bro.

Tie down the plant as many times as you want to form other kola buds, it shoots the hormones throughout the whole plant instead straight to the top,
keeps your plant shorter and all the buds get equal light, if you do it right it can end of looking like this.

As far as watering, i just give my 5 gal pot about 1 gallon of water every other day, usually water when the top of the soil is dry cause you dont wanna suffocate the roots. also, cha chaing is a nutrient enhancer, for tiger bloom. You might want to look into Fox Farms nutes a little more cause they are most effective when used together.

I water with nutes every other watering. heres a chart to fox farms nutes and a schedule when to feed with them.

Hope this helped you out man.

Well, You never mentioned on what you are feeding them. How often are you feeding them. I would say you should feed them every 2 to 4 waterings. Do you have any pictures of these monsters? I am sure all of us would LOVE to see. STAY HIGH!!!

thanks for the replies! and i did say what i was feeding them on, it was Cha-Ching, Orlando morbloom and Budblood!.. and hmm yer i sure have :)!hey3.jpghey1.jpghey2.jpg

From the pictures I can tell they are very healthy and very happy plants. You are doing every thing well. What you are feeding them is good. They dont seem to be needing any thing. Keep up the good work and you will have a good amount of quality smoke on your hands. STAY HIGH!!!
