I grow with doctor's permission in Nevada for my kidney disease. I have a few different strains which are all kick ass! The one with problems is my favorite one...lovingly called "The Sizzle" although in Amsterdam they call it "Purple Power" but I haven't really gotten it to turn purple, it does a little, but it doesn't stay purple through the cure. (I would take suggestions on that too)
The first pics show the one that has been vegging for a few weeks and it now been flowering for a couple of days. It has had stunted growth from the start really...When it first started, for just a couple of days, the PH was very low like 5 or a bit lower...I got on top of it right away but I could see damage....Since then I have maintained a PH or 6 to 6.5 but it still looks bad! It has been this way for weeks....It grows seven bladed leaves which means something is right but it looks stunted in its growth and the damage and deformity is systematic...I think it might be recovering but just of tonight I could still see this damage on the new leaves...I flushed this plants bucket out a couple of days ago and (except for the couple of days the PH was out of whack) the rest of the time it has maintained VERY well!
I scrub and flush buckets once every 7 to 10 days (never longer than two weeks)
They are my babies! I love them very much!
The next pics show the other clone from the same strain cut at the same time but left in the humidity dome for a few weeks longer. (The leaf burn is from its time in the humidity dome) This plant has never had PH problems. Although to be fair for a few hours the PH was 5.5 to 6 ( I use the PH liquid to measure which in this period was yellowish orange.) This strain thrives when the PH is 6 to 6.5. This plant still has good leaves but a few are messed up like the other one....I flushed the bucket on this one tonight just in case....
I don't know what could be causing this to happen.....
One thing....Instead of having a mother plant I just clip a few cutting before I flower the plant. I have been doing this for about 10 generations and I have NEVER seen any defects or weird things going on.
My gut tells me it is PH...As I have been learning how to master growing them I have seen PH do messed up things to my babies....But also I can't stop thinking about making copies of copies...
What is the longest anyone has made copies of copies?
The last pics show what could be lost if I can't fix this problem! AWESOME SMOKE!
