Have any of you ever had a decent grow using the wrong/bad soil??

Hell yea . . . I used to re-use all my indoor soil AS WAS/IS . . . never a problem, really.
Of course, this was back when I only used regular 4' fluros from soup-to-nutz so the small buds were the norm.

i use the only other soil i could find at walmart other than miracle grow. its cheap, its not GOOD soil but it does the job.

i used a mix of regular potting soil and dirt from outside, my plant loved it.
