A question about space constraints.

So i have been planning on building a grow room in my vault. Yes my house has a vault, but anyway, the vault is a fairly narrow space, the exact dimensions of the room are 20x3.5x12 (LxWxH in feet). Is that too small an area? I'm planning on growing an indica dominant for yield reasons, and also was thinking that i probably need to consider the wingspan of a solid indica, they get fatty. I dunno, just toss me some opinions fellas and ladies.

Also, i guess i should add that this won't be a terribly complex grow, i'm a student and can't really afford to set up a solid aero or hydro system (yet).

you could grow many, many, many plants in that area. The room being three feet wide should not be a problem - in fact it should make it easier to light. If you plan on year-round growing, i would divide the room in half (or whatever works for you) - use half for flowering and half for mothers/clones.

Stakes of room there bud. Like email said, the narrow nature would make it easier to get the light down onto your plants.

If this is truly a vault venting the area is going to be a pain because of the reinforced concrete.

Please tell me more about your vault! I would love to see a picture of the door! Is it at the back of a closet or is it in the middle of the house? Tell me more tell me more!

That is ample space. I'm thinking about reducing the size of my {8'(w)x5'(d)x8'(h)} garden to 3ft deep and adding a perpetual crop that should yield 3 plants per week wasting no space.

Can u draw a digram of the openings and any artificial walls?

Im not good at diagramming, but the vault seemed like a good idea to protect "valuables" when we built the house. The door is partially hidden by the staircase into my basement. Sorry, no pics though, call it conscientious paranoia. The walls are 10 inch concrete.

Dude growing alot of plants in a vault will be difficult.

Is there an outlet in there?
Even if there is sufficent lighting you couldnt grow more than 5 - 10 plants without sufficient fresh air.
Temperature/ ventilation will bite u in the ass, unless you leave the door open

If you can rig a vent duct through the concrete it could potentially be a indoor forest.
