I have had a problem with my indoor soil grow for around 6 months now and had no idea what I was fighting. I would search the forums for answers, and even posted a couple of threads seaking answers, all to no avail. 90% of the replies I recieved involved adding nutes, not adding nutes, flushing etc. Because of the similarity of the symptoms to lockout or enviromental issues I spent countless hours trying to treat for the usual causes, eventually having to trash my grow as the plants got too decimated to recover them.
I would wager that many other new growers are also going through the same heartbreak without a clue as to how to identify and treat plants that have been infected with this terror.
Would it be possible to create a 'sticky' in the problem section that covers this as well as pictures of plants that are infected along with various 'cures' that have been found to work?
I would be willing to contribute with pictures of my infected plants to help in the identification. Both befor and after pictures of the treatments would be a wonderful addition to the forum as well.
There are treatments and cures out there. I used the H2O2 flush to treat my plants, and now am back in business again. But the battle was long and heartbreaking. I was at the point of just calling it quits and abandoning the idea of an indoor grow completely when I accidentally came across an article elsewhere that was discussing the value of using Hydrogen Peroxide in their soil grow.
Just a thought for your consideration
