My girlfriend painted this for her mom as a christmas gift
It took her all of 2 hours maybe
We don't paint often but its fun to do (when you dont fuck it up right before you finish)
She doesnt know I'm putting this up here but I thought it was really good

Tell me what you think..

Ill post mine up when I finish unless it turns out complete shit
Gotta go paint

too much fire colors on it for my taste, I like balance ...

I know you have been on the edge of your seats for my painting
and I have finally gotten around to finishing it
Im pleased with the outcome, the paint was still a little wet when I took the pic so some spots look a little weird but thats why

Bro' thats beautiful, can you get a picture in higher resolution? It just doesn't do the colors and blending much justice.

I really like your girls use of pastel colors, very abstract. In your painting I love the hues of blue and the sunset reflection off of the water. I only have one question: why the blue streak in the reflection of the sunset where it touches land? I'm not trying to be a dick at all bro', its a remarkable painting.

I was looking at a picture and trying to semi copy it and it looked like that.
I can still change it..
Ive got a nice spot on the wall picked out for it..it looks good against the color of the wall

Its gratifying to stand back and enjoy your work, but it can be frustrating as hell trying to get it to that point
probably wouldnt hurt if i painted more often
