the key to moving into this might be micro-robotics. did you know people are making fully-functional nano batteries? on the scale of microns, these batteries could power little robots that could do all kinds of crazy shit.
once cybernetics become a part of human life it will be harder to set distinct lines of what humans have to be.
(of course getting rid of outdated religions would help too but that's a different subject :) )

i'm really wanting to see come big change in this world, i hope this stuff gets moving soon

Me too... it feels like i've been waiting forever. They release the technology at a slower rate than it is discovered... then you have to wait for the price to come down. It'll be the same for bioengineering (cosmetic surgery of the future), and cybernetics too...
