Hey RIU members I'm wondering if anyone has had or know what type of mite this isDSC01066.jpg(your gonna have to drag and drop to see)
My only real question is are these species harmful to MJ. There only in my worm bin now so I wont use the soil in the bin till I'm certain there's no threat.
I'm a read up on google about these criters. Meantime anyone with any knowledge on this can feel free to comment. Thanks.

They look similar to soil mites and also look similar to "hypoaspis miles" both of which do not harm plants.

Soil mites feed on decay and fungi and help to keep soil healthy.

Hypoaspis miles are predatory mites that feed in fungus gnat larvae and thrips larvae aswell as decaying organic matter.

Correct you are they are soil mites. I thought they where RED mites which can be nasty.

Those are good mites. They predate on several pests, if anything you should be moving as many as you con onto your plants. there a good thing.
