A Man in a Hot Air Balloon

A man in a hot air balloon realized he was lost. He lowered his altitude and spotted a man in a boat below. He shouted to him,

"Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don't know where I am."

The man consulted his portable GPS and replied, "You're in a hot air balloon, approximately 30 feet above ground elevation of 2,346 feet above sea level. You are at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude.

He rolled his eyes and said, "You must be a Republican.

"I am," replied the man. "How did you know?"

"Well," answered the balloonist, "everything you told me is technically correct. But I have no idea what to do with your information, and I'm still lost. Frankly, you've not been much help to me."

The man smiled and responded, "You must be an Obama-Democrat."

"I am," replied the balloonist. "How did you know?"

"Well," said the man, "you don't know where you are -- or where you are going. You've risen to where you are, due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise you have no idea how to keep, and you expect me to solve your problem. You're in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but somehow, now it's my fault."

This has to be the stupidest thread I ever read.

The joke ain't funny, bro. The guy never blamed the Republican, but no one should expect another to memorize exact longitude and latitude for locations either.

He blames him for not providing the help the balloonist was looking for.

I wouldn't really call that blaming, more complaining. Liberals do love complaining and then using ad hominem to accuse their rival of the same. Although the liberal amazingly doesn't in this instance.

lol @ "everything you told me is technically correct".

good luck at trying to get that to stick for the party of "not intended to be a factual statement" as well as the most dishonest campaign ever (who lost ohio due to telling the lie of the year).

that joke was originally meant to go the other way around, because obama is so technical. also, because the GOP is mad at obama and expects him to solve the problems they created (massive deficit, dead economy, etc). the economy got there under bush, but somehow it's the "obama economy" now.

yes, that joke was originally told the other way around, and the attempt at reversal just does not work.

thread fail, one star, OP prefers sexual liasons with gentlemen.

Typical name calling angry miserable libtard ...GET A JOB !

90% of what you just did was name calling, 90% of what i did was explaining how you ripped off this joke, swapped a few words out, and expected it to work just the same.

sorry, rainingcocks, it doesn't work like that. there's a reason why this joke originated the other way around.
