davalaban - Drawing for me is mostly a hobby. Occasionally someone from the furry community will approach me and commission me to draw something for them. I'd like to turn this into a decently paying job, but I doubt it will happen. I plan on writing a book about some of the beasties I draw.

No actual story or set of events has actually been written up. But I've definitely been trying to develop scientific explanations for the reasons certain creatures look/act/possess certain traits through how they would have evolved that way (I'm a total nerd XD ). I've had a ton of awesome ideas and I'd be glad to have new ones. Not really a huge backstory yet, but a developing huge backstory.

It is cool to get some background into their world, but not necessary to go too overboard. They are just like us, alive to survive. My personal feel is that you could start story boarding immediately. Slowly fill in the detail...ala Pini and say the Wolfriders. The story is developed enough that you understand what you are seeing, but the real story does not unfold until a bit later. You could start small and then expand after you grab attention?
