Started about 2 weeks ago but hasn't progressed any further than this. I'm pretty sure its a Magnesium deficiency, so about a week ago i upped CaliMag and started adding 1/4 teaspoon of Epson salts to feedings.
Damn I wish I saw your thread a few months ago! I was having the same issue and could not solve it for a few of the plants. Good to know that spraying the plants will make it more absorbent.
Pretty much 24hrs after i started spaying the leaves, yellow slowly starting to disappear !!! These are just beans that got given to me, a kinda test run for the "real"grow, THC bomb and LCD which i will be doing full grow journals on here when the beans come in a week or so. thanks heaps guys for the help.
What do you mean the yellow faded .....it will only prevent more yellowing or bad leafs not fix already yellow ones .....so the issue stopped with more mag is what you mean ??
well from what i saw it looked liked the yellowing had faded but yes after spraying the leaves with H2O & Epson salts it at very lest hasn't gotten worse. I'll also be adding a little more calmag and Epson salts to the feed which isn't due for another day or 2
Yellow definitely fading, half gone on most of the leaves now. Just gave them a feed and i upped the Epson salts to 1tsp/gal (190ppm) and Ph to 6.5, alittle high for me but slightly higher Ph levels are better for Magnesium absorption. Will also stop saying the leaves for a day or 2
