Hey All, my Duct Fan has 2 black wires, 120v.

My power cord has a green/yellow, blue, and brown wire.

Anyone have any ideas how to wire it all up?

Thanks

did u ever figure this out? I have the same fan 6 inches but not sure on whats the best way to wire it. Let me know if you have a solid setup

go buy another 2wire cord. your fan doesnt look like it has a ground. split the cord and wirenut each wire together. bam plug in and your good to go. id recomend after the wirenut take electrical tape and tape each wire individually and the wirenut and then both together keeps things from snagging later. ive done 6 and 4in suncourt fans the same and running for a couple yrs now. if you had a green wire get a 2 wire with green ground and wire same with one more wire.

99% of the time brown is hot, blue is neutral, and green/yellow is chassis ground

connect one black wire to the brown, connect the othe black fan wire to the blue wire, and connect the green/yellow wire to any metal part of the fan housing with a screw. use a short screw and don't put it in near the motor.... stay on the ends.

you can buy the same exact fans on ebay for $35 free shipping thats already pre wired. They were 29.99 at home depot so its a good deal to get one already with a cord.
