a list of everything needed?

I am trying to start a grow room in an unfinished part of my basement, it's a rather large space (about 12'x16'). i'm actually a total noob at this and was wondering where to start, if i could get a list of everything needed for a perfect grow room that would be great, or any other advice you have for setting up a grow room would be much appreciated. thanks in advance, gadget

edit: i forgot to mention, im going to be using a hydro setup that i also know next to nothing about, so any help with that would be great too.

i know nothin of hydro. but u need to let us know what ur expecting. how many plants u want? how much yield u lookin for? how much u have to spend? etc.

i'm looking to go big, like i said, i have a pretty large space. and i have 4 friends willing to go in on it with me, so money's not really much of an object. and as for yield and how many plants, like i said i'm a total noob, but i want probably 5-10 lbs a cycle. like i said, i want to go big.

lol, I agree with these guys. If you're not willing to do some research at the outset there's no way you're going to end up with that much weed.

okay... i'll take a swing at this. lets say you want to go for 5 lb. crops... and harvest at least every 4 months (3x a year)... You'd prolly need at least (4) 1000w HPS lamps for vedge/flowering. Like, a table for each lamp if you're doing hydro. And maybe (1 or 2) 1000w MH, each over its own table, for clones/vedging. (Or you could use some other light for the clones/vedging, like t5 or t8 or t12 flourescents. You would need about (12) t12 four foot 2 bulb flourescent fixtures, for example.)

The list of small stuff that you will need is truly endless...

but start with the absolute must haves; a timer for each light, fans for the plants, exhaust fans for each light at least 265 cfm or one for each two vented hoods thats at least 460 cfm, odor control (ozone generator or carbon scrubber), medium, decent water supply (may require reverse osmosis or filtration), nutrients, pH up and down, cloning solution and medium, dryer vent hoses, extension cords, power strips, extra breakers installed in your breaker box, wiring that runs from these to the grow room, pest control products, a way to control humidity, pH meter, TDS meter, moisture meter, thermometer, humidity meter (hygrometer?)... Like i said, ENDLESS. Good Luck.
