Hey guys, I'd like to introduce myself...I'm LIL'Widow, and i love growin Widow! I am not at all a beginner in the growing world, but i am a beginner on Roll It Up! I know it's early for me to be startin this journal since i start in the spring but what can i say....I'm excited!
OK....The grow! First all of you know by now I'm growin the White Widow plant. I will be growin a lot of them. This will take place in a guerilla style manner.
Location: Opened area next to a stream. I have already opened it up with my chainsaw quite a bit. Very Discreet Location!!!!
Strain: White Widow. I love this strain because of the quickness of growing it. Not as great of a yield as say orangina, big bud, or northern, but it buds quicker meaning less stress on ppl jackin my shittttt.
Style of Grow: Garden Beds. I'm Ol' Skool. First i plot out my bed. i will be using a 40x20 ft bed. First i clear the area with my handy garden clippers. Then i take Compost from my local composting site and cover the area with about 6 inches of compost. I then add Bone Meal, Guano pellets, Lime, and Perlite all over the Site. I then mix this up with my Mantis tiller. The tiller is 20 pounds so it's very easy to carry. Once i have fully mixed everything into the ground. I leave...
(2 weeks later)
I return to my spot and begin turning my bed over to airate the whole site and get the soil ready for planting. While im there i prepare how the plants are going to get watered. I have a pump, a battery, a solar panel, a timer, and hoses.
Watering: With the items mentioned above i have it set up so that the pump will pump water to the bed twice a day for 30 minutes. I have soaker hoses running through the garden so that every plant gets watered.
Planting: I take my clones (I dont do the seed thing) that have already been growing for a few weeks, and i put them in. In each hole i make with my hands...i add a half a teaspoon of mycorise into the hole. This is great stuff! after i have done planting the babies...i add my granular ferts on the top...This year i would like to try somethin new...If any of you guys have suggestions on good granular ferts, i would appreciate it!
Ferts and Nutes: I have always used organic ferts in granular form and would like to try some new ones this year. As for Nutrition, i use superthrive about 3-4 times throughout the season...These are the only times i visit my spot. I am looking into a good flowering fert as well.
Well thats the basics on what i will be doing this year...I'm excited and if any of you guys have tips and advice or even questions...i'd Love to hear them!
