A Four and A Six Peddal pot Leaf?

Alright, i've had my plant growing for about a month under a 600 watt halogen work light. It looks happy as hell except that in my third set of leaves on had three pedals and the other had 4. Explanations?. Now i've got what should have been my first set of seven, it looks like it's gonna be a five and a six. Please someone explain.

.... first off... you shouldn't be using the halogen light
its too hot and doesn't have a very good spectrum for growing

you'd be better off with a few 42w cfls (the curly fluorescents you can put in normal light sockets)

plants aften times just grow odd... mutated a bit

its nothing to worry about really...



but please change the light your using...

Just wanted to make sure that it wouldn't be anything serious. And yes i know, those halogen bulbs are rediculously hot, but im on a budget and it was 30 dollars. I also dont have alot of stores around to invest in good lighting system or that would be in the trash. If someone could find me an actual full grow light system between 150 to 200$. Send me the url.

high tech garden supply has a 400w hps for 140 (thats including shipping too)

they also havee a 400w setup that comes with a mh conversion bulb so you can use mh lighting for veg and hps for flower... its only 40 dolars more than the normal hps or mh setups

Wow, exactly the what i need in my price range. Now i just hope i can get my car started in the morning an spend more money on that. thx.
