a few qwik germin questions...

okay.. got a couple germination questions...

1- I heard plain white paper towels were bad to germ in cuz of chemicals and that i should use brown paper towels... anyone ever heard that b4??

2- I was germin in paper towels and had them wrapped in tinfoil to keep moisture in and light out?? will the tinfoil disrupt my germin at all??

3- How long do yall let ur tap roots get before puttin into soil / rockwool / or other grow medium???

I use a purple paper towel ,damp, insidea dvd case and placed on top of my cable box. 100 %

Nothing wrong with white or brown, Wrapping in foil will work but I use either a zip-lock bag or a tupperware sandwich container to hold in max moisture. Usually as soon as they split the shell, but I've had a few only split and then nothing. Now I wait until they are a good 1/4 inch or so. Good luck and happy german, sorry germing

thanks for the feedback... i have had good luck in the past.. just think that i over watered my rockwool after mine were in rockwool... was just mad as hell cuz i ruined 4 good fem'd seeds!!!.... any other comments are more then welcome...
