First time here so I appreciate any and all help.
Plan to grow something upstate NY where I will only see the plants once a week at most. If anyone has recommendations as to some robust strains that can handle outdoor growth in upstate NY I would be grateful. I'm going to soil germinate but I don't know which soil to use (if i can just buy a premixed soil at HD or something that would be great as i am a lazy stoner), keep that in a pot with syran wrap over it and place it in a greenhouse style room with windows all over it (faces south so it gets hot and sunny). After they sprout I plan to move them outside to my vegetable garden that has a bunch of different veggies for which I've used Miracle Grow Plant Food. If anyone thinks i need to amend my plans please tell me but also understand i'm not going to be there that often so I don't want to get too crazy if they're just going to die.
Also,
-Can I use store bought soil mixes to germinate and sprout my plants?
-Then, once they sprout but before there are leaves, can I move them outside safely without shocking them?
-Should I treat the soil outside with anything before I move them there?
-How often do they need watering?
