A few questions and some pictures of my girls

Hi well this is my first time growing and I planted all my seeds except one about 3 weeks ago it was actually December 26th and that one i planted about 2 weeks ago because of some incident where a seed got crushed but I replaced it. Anyways i was wondering how you guys thought about how my girls progress was doing? Also i wanted to know what this brownish spots just above water level on my roots is I think its just nutrient build up but what you guys think?
