Exactly what testing equipment do I NEED for a hydro/aero setup? A pH tester, etc..

If someone could make me a vague but complete list it would be MUCH appreciated, I'm just trying to figure out which things are crucial and which ones are optional.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can point me in the right direction!

pH meter, temperature monitor and a conductivity meter, in that order.

Hi there, you will need a simple pH testing kit or meter, an E.C or PPM (Parts Per Million) meter, and a room thermometer...
