I know alot of users here are against oven and water cures, but I'm thinking of experimenting with some my up and coming harvest.
1) Water cure with bottled distilled water (not garbage tap). 1/2 gal for 1 hour, change water, repeat. (I'm unsure if a longer soak is required)
2) Place space buds on cooking sheet and place in oven at 125° for 10-15min (MAX)
3) Hang buds til dry, then jar cure for finish.
From what I understand about water curing, the water helps to release the chlorphyll and other unwanted plant parts. In the oven, I hope to jump start the moisture evaporation process. I live in a dry climate, so even if the buds are still moist, I'm not too concerned about bud rot.
Thoughts?
