a couple specific cloning questions

ok so when using a mini bubbleponics system for cloning what should the water temp be and where should the ph be?

i put a hydrofarm seedling heat mat under the small Tupperware bubble cloner i made and the water feels really warm like bath water.

i used plain tap water with a ph set at 5.5 three days ago and it rose all the way back up to 8. today. i replaced it with 5.5 ph tap water today.

i saw small root growth after day 2 but they dont seem to be growing anymore. the cuttings look good though, they are reaching for light. im thinking the water warmed up too much for root growth to continue and/or the ph got too high.

any suggestions?

Root's in 2 day's? Nice.
The water Ph change's as it oxygenate's.
Try letting the water sit for 24 hrs with a air stone in it.
Then PH adjust to 5.8.
The temp should be at 75 to 80 degrees.
The sell heat matt thermometer's for about 30 buck's.
I do not clone with a bubble setup anymore. But have heard from some other member's. That adding rooting gel into water in the bubble setup help also.
