I have not posted yet but i have been reading all the articles on here for about 2 months. I will start with my set up before i start asking questions. i am using the following
5- 18 liter drain buckets
2- 45 liter resivors
Clay medium
rockwool
400 watt metal halide (for veg)
600 watt HPS (flower)
2- Air pumps
I always keep the ph between 5.8 -6.3
I use Nefarious Part A and B for feeding and Canadian express essential nitro and Canna Rhizotonic
My E.C for my tap water is 1.0
Now my first question is about my E.C. I use filtered tap water and then mix in some distilled water (E.C 0) to get my E.C to .5 but when i add my nutrients it shoots up to 3.3? Also i am only using 30ml Nefarious instead of the recommended 50ml. Does the E.C matter that much if you change the water every week? Now this brings me to my next question. My tips on my plants are turning yellow so would this be the cause of the E.C being off? I have one plant that is going into flowering now and 4 that are veg. How long does it usually take for a plant to show sex after you have switched to 12/12? I will post some picks. Thanks for any help.
