Easiest cheepest way i found i got a 12000btu window ac on craigslist for 100 bucks. Only have 1 light so i only need 4k btu but i got a super oversized one so it will last longer. Window units for grow rooms are known to burn out fast. I habe a girlfriend who went through a 5k btu ac every 3 months for a year before she got a mini split. Btw mini splits are the most energy efficient but it takes money to save money lol

Actually oversizing an ac is worse than undersizing. It will short cycle and will not dehumidify. But your right about the efficiency.

I wouldnt count on ac to dehumidify i have a dehumidifier for that. My light requires 4k btu but my ac is 12k btu. Works awsome.

can anyone recommend an inexpensive dual hose AC unit? and holy shit man if your house is a constant 1100ppm of co2 i would be concerned

1100ppm is normal for a a house with ppl living in it, and closed (doors/windows) with ac or heat on.

And run very FAST away from ideal air 14k dual hose portable ac. 3 units all failed in the first 5 mins of setting up.

LG 14k single hose. 6yrs using that model, always works the way i want.

Co2 concentrations get even higher than that in bedrooms. Read on here one day someone said 5k ppm of co2 was fatal. Most dont even notice co2 concentrations of up to 20k at 20k humans start to become drowsy.
