A 10'x16' space - AC/heat pump question

Let's say, hypothetically, I have a 10'x16' building that I had spray foamed and did all sorts of things to tighten it up. The building has been effectively split in half with the first room being the veg room and the back half being the flower room.

My question is about my ac / heat pump placement. I have a one ton unit that I question if I should place it in the veg room or the flower room. The veg room has a 16"x25" filter register that brings in the fresh air and a number of squirrel cage fans, a box fan, and an oscillating fan move air throughout the building. I also have a scrubber connected to a 6" inline fan exhausting the air from the flower room to the outside.

The ac/heat pump unit is a stand alone portable unit that I plan to draw air from the inside but send the exhaust outside.

Which room should the unit go in; the veg room or flower room?

I will work on drawing a picture and get it uploaded to the thread for a little more reference.

Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Recommended humidity levels for plants in veg is about Rh 65-70% any higher in veg in can expect a visit from the Pm angel,
in bud its lower Rh 45-55% to dry the plants really suffer to wet ...yet another visit from that Pm bitch ...lol

ps if you can keep that center wall flexible or movable ..
then you are onto something as most veg room are best at 75%
smaller than the bud room
YES!!!! 75 % smaller
as you can expect some(25 - 33%) bud stretch

Put ac in flower room as more/stronger lights are used there. You can buy electric controlled duct damper that open and close so if temps in veg room are below 80 the dampers stay closed if the temp exceeds that number the dampers will open an ac will then enter veg room. You can alsi uze a small fan to blow cooler air from flower to veg room all controlled by a thermostat

I agree with placing it in the flower room. Your hps will create a lot more heat than your fluorescent bulbs so if you were to set it up in the veg area, it wouldn't keep the flower area cool enough unless the thermostat was located in the flower room, and this would cause the veg room to get a lot colder than you would want it to be.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I have planned for it to go in the flower room but wondered what other thoughts would be. My concern is the veg room where the fresh cool/warm air enters the building . I wondered if it would be better in there and have fans blow the cool or warm air into the flower room. The reason I liked it in the flower is that it would keep the humidity down in there as well.

I will plan on keeping it in the flower room and use fans to move conditioned air into the veg room.

I am planning to get the unit off the floor about 1' to make draining the condesation tank easier.
