Whats goin on guys! Well the time is here and i'm ready for my first grow! Its been a long time since i first started this project, but loved every minute of work I put into it! work for weed. Here are some pics of my setup i got going on for my 18 grandaddy plants. I'm about to plant them soon with pics
Tell me what you guys think of my little setup so far. This is what I'm using:
-2 600 W HPS Lights
-550 pump
-100% pure coco soil
-coco mat
-1 big ass carbon filter w/ 8 in fan
-coco nutrients! mmm (look) at pics for all of these materials.
I just have some cheap small reflectors on the lights for now, but they work fine! The reflection is all goood! and the panda paper makes it summmer all day!
Good news guys, I just got my clones in! Instead of 18 grandaddy plants I ended up with a little diversity of 17 plants, 3 strains, which are: Purple Erckle, Ken's Grandaddy, and Blueberry! yes yes yes...I'm really excited for these babies! I'm using the full coco method here, which involves the coco mat for the base, coco 2 gallon containers+100% coco soil+the coco nutrients. I'm only using coco nutrient A & B for now and these plants are loving IT ! ! ! Here are a few starting pics. Tell me what you guys think! Thanks for looking and KEEP IT LIT ! ! !
Have fun with the coco! its soo nice I wont use anything els. its such a great medium for holding/releasing nutes. THe best thing about it is you cant get soil desiease since its not soil it coconut husks. it grows up high in trees not on the grownd
Here are some better pics of my plants. In the other pics they appear more yellow because the camera was not set right, but its all good now. check em out! aren't they sexy?!
Day #3 of Veg. using Coco Nutrients A & B. (150ml of each for my 35 gallon reservoir)
Watering system is set to go off every hr for 5 sec.
ADJUSTMENTS MADE: moved lights closer about 6in away from plants. ( lights were about 12in-15in) Moved the plants closer together for more light absorption.
Lighting cycle used: 2 x 600 W HPS lights on a 18/6 Veg. Cycle.
Dude, no offence, but with your expensive bloody equipment your plants should be A LOT better than that, Move your light closer, and you should probably get another light to cover that HUGE growspace of yours. Those plants look very unhealthy and streched, do something about it while you still can.
I took a closer look at some more of the pics this time and it does actually look like lots of em stretched (obviously happened early on) hopefully now with your light closer they will bush out i usually cut off most of my bottom branches anyways for a bigger top bud
Here are my babies at 5 days of Veg. The lights are still about 6in away from the plants. 18/6 light cycle with 2 x 600 W HPS lights / Nutrients: Coco Nutrient A & B. I also included how tall each plant is too and will be posting pics every few days or soooo. Tell me what you guys think.
Ok so my camera bro& Bke so theres not going to be any pics for awhile...unfortunately. The babies are def. not babies anymore. there on day # 18 of Veg. state. So far the tallest plant now is about 21in, which is the blueberry plants. there ranging from 16-21in. The purple erkel's arent looking that great...in growth but they are still growing just slower than the others. The grandaddy plants have really taken off!!!!!! THERE so awesome looking! i love the tops of these things! really really sexy plants!!!!!! i needa post you this eye candy sooon!
The lights remain about 6in away from the top of the plants.
Nutrients being used now are the home and garden coco A & B and now I added the multi zyme nute starting on 2 weeks ( 3 days ago )
I'm watering the plants every 3 days with about a 10% runoff.
Overall the plants are growing healthy and strong except a few of the purple erkels, which im a little concerned about, but we'll c what happens.
Ok so I was lucky enough to just borrow a camera from a friend so I have pics!!! yee yee
Also one of my friends gave me a plant!!!!! thats what a true friend is! However I don't know what strain it is, but its looking really good! I've continued to use the Home Garden Coco coir A & B nutrients + the multi zyme nutrient.
Lighting stays at 18/6 cycle. ( 2 x HPS Lights) roughly about 6in from plants.
PH = 5.8
This plants are looking pretty good. I'm looking to start flowering in 2 weeks. What do you think. I realize the smaller plants will take a little longer.
Any comments and suggestions welcomed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
