9 Weeks Veg Pistols, is she Auto-Flower? pics attached

Hey guys, Just curious on this 1, How do you tell the difference between auto-flowers? Her lower nodes are showing new yellow-ish colour as if going into flower, She has had No mistakes, maybe a bit warm a day or 2 but nothing major, if it is auto-flower what do i do?

Is this your first grow? If it is, then is the top starting to form into a crown/ball looking thing? Also what time schedule do you have her on? Seems to me your plant has just reached sexual maturity, so it's totally normal.

If she has vegged for 9 weeks it's highly doubtful she's an auto. Most autos finish in no more than 70-90 days from seed.

9 weeks of veg should in theory lead to a much larger plant than yours. She looks a bit overwatered and possible mag or iron def.

You might want to repot her with some more perlite to aerate the medium more. Also careful with your ph. Do a google search for proper ph for whatever grow medium you're using.

This is actually my 3rd Grow, She is Female as shown in pics, She is doing very well, no theres no balls or "tops of buds" forming yet she just yellowing as if ready to happen, her cycle is a strong 18/6

THe plant will show their sex in veg if they become mature enough in veg, a 9 week veg with certainly yield a mature plant. Auto-flower is a specific type of genetic trait of cannibus ruderalis-- it isn't something that just "happens" to any ol' plant out there. It's an autoflower if you bought an autoflowering seed, otherwise highly unlikely. Some plants are bred with one 3rd generation auto-flowering plant to create a very fast flowering, but still somewhat photoperiod sensitive and able to be cloned. I have grown both a Rasperberry and Blackberry Kushes from local clones that where like this and finished in around 7 weeks.

Simple version: If it is an autoflower just keep doing what you are doing, if it is not one just keep doing what you are doing.

I'd maybe try to top that plant though, if you aren't going to flower too soon.

Oh thanks so realistically auto-flowers grow a lil then bud ASAP, Thats understandable, well then this falls down to strain and early maturing, Could great enviroment & cool conditions promote this? Just so you know stoneslacker i sprayed her down before pics, she cant be over watered as i have literally only fed her when the whole pot has dried out + the fan blowing ontop soil, but i can see why you got that result, my PH on the otherhand is between 6.2 & 7.2, when adding her nutes it neutralises PH to 6.5, Possible Mag/Iron Deficiency? I cant see any reason why As iv Got a proper ammount of Dolomite lime (Ca)14% - (Mg)8% & her (Ag Grow nutrient) supplies Iron/boron/copper/zinc & others but mind you this is at a rate of (iron: 0.29 gm/lt or 0.029 %w/v), The soil Consists of Seasol aswell for benefits, I must agree on the perlite BUT 40% Of my soil contains WETA Soil so it drains REALY Well maybe a lil too quick because the top 3-4 inches dry out within the hour or 2

Southerner, I have to say im scared of topping her, I know she is female but she is Sativa, My LAST grow (Current flowering) Consisted of 4 Plants All Sativas, i topped 2 of them, i SuperCropped the main stem of 1 & i left 1!! Guess what?! The 2 Topped girls turned male, The 1 supercropped stem i think has hermied herself (calyxes & pistols browning & falling off) & the 1 i didnt touch has a HUGE Donkeys Dick of Buds!!! Sticky smelly mmmm, So all in all through experience i dont wanna touch this 1 & i wont be, ill LST her side nodes tho
On my next veg batch (clones off this girl) Ill Top 1, FIM 1, SC 1, LST 1 & Take down Results, Because this is Femanised obviously ill keep cloning

Personally, I think the relationship between "stress" and hermieing is a little overblown. I definately think you can throw them off with a broken light schedule specifically, but I lean more towards the idea that hermieing is result of genetics. I do think if a plant is stressed enough to the point where it is literally dying, the plant will do whatever it has to do to produce seeds. If you aren't comfortable training this new plant, then certainly don't! Your comfort level with such things will grow as you get more experience. If you want a single donkey dick cola then you are right not to top at all. I would definately flower pretty soon though, because if that is a Sativa it could really stretch and even HID lights only penetrate 2 ft or so.
