Would this 8x14 carbon filter work good for a 4x4x8 grow box?

I believe it would. The ad says

"THIS FILTER AND FAN COMBO WAS DESIGNED TO CLEAN THE AIR IN AN AVERAGE 12 X 12 X 8 ROOM OR SLIGHTLY LARGER"

You should be all set provided your fan is strong enough. The ad said something about 200+ CFM.

Dude you got a fan? This model has a fan made on it. That is why it is high $$.
Just the filter is $66. same guy.

I dont got a fan, and I dont really care as much 4 the price but how it's gonna work. I believe in you get what you pay 4, cuz cheap things usually get cheap results...

I'd ask about the noise level before I buy it. Mine is rated @ 52 DBs, that is NOT quite but works for me as I run it in the attic.

Not bad, mine is louder than that. The one my partner has is 42 and very quite.
