So I'm in the middle of flower and there seems to be this storm coming through and just yesterday I checked my humidity during lights off and it was 80%! Should I be worried?
80% humidity!

During lights on it gets back down to about 45-55%

Either get a dehumidifier, way to exhaust your air, or some dessicant like damp rid. It sucks up moisture in the air.

If you got really dense buds and this happens often ya if not not so much but still better to be cautious

What are the chances of rot? Hopefully 80% for 1 or 2 night cylces aren't gonna destroy things :X

You should be fine as long as you keep good air circulation and exchange...During flowering my humidity goes up consistently to the mid-seventies with lights off haven't had a problem yet.

Thanks man, it's nice to know someone has the same problem coming out with healthy results. I have a 650 cfm exhaust on 24/7 with 2 Oscalting fans on high 24/7 also in a 10 x10 grow room.

I usually run 2 fans, 1 6" inLine fan pulling thru my light hood for the lights on
and a 4" inline running during lights off, my humidity never goes over 55 % RH.

I thought the storm reference was just a random side topic. Not that your humidity spike was due to that and not constant. As mentioned good air exchange will help. Also lots of air movement. Which are similar but different. But if its short term then nothing to worry abt.

My critical kush plant was subjected to 80ish for 3 days straight. Didn't notice bud rot till harvest. Lost about an ounce on a 5 1/2 ounce plant.
