8" Pot, 3-4 Foot Plant?

Hey,

I am wondering if I need to go buy some bigger pots. I plan to grow a 3-4 foot plant and am wondering if an 8 inch pot (not sure on gallons) would be big enough? It is an average normal looking pot.

no i wouldnt use that put her in the ground or in a 5 gallon bucket...nd how do u post ur own threads???

1) Go into whichever forum you like. Lets say newbie central for example.
2) Then below the roll it up logo on the left hand side you should see My Roll It Up below it, then below that you will see

Newbie Central
3) Then below that you will see new thread. Click that and make your post.

i think an 8 inch pot is about two gallons. the standard i've seen quoted by experienced growers on this site is one gallon for each ft of height you want to achieve.

Yup.. I'd personally suggest 5 gal buckets- bigger roots mean bigger plants, meaning more plant energy, meaning bigger/more buds.. :mrgreen:
