8 days....Still not germed yet!!!

Hello guys,

I got these freebies with my Attitude order that im had in my fridge about 3-4mths. G13 Purple Lady and Dinafem White Widow! It's been 8 days and they still have not germed yet,should i just get rid of them or wait a few more days? I know the window is about 1-7 days for germing,but i have never waited this long before.... actually of all the seeds i have done in the past,never been longer than 4 days!

3 things over waterd, to dry, or plain ass bad seed.

Im a newb (im about to start my first grow) but my friend who grows all the time insists the best way to germ is to put the seeds on a damp paper tower in a plastic bag and place them by the window for sun for 3 days (i think). The idea is that the wet paper tower fools the seed into thinking its wet dirt and since you are able to expose the seed to solar heat at the same time. As opposed to putting the seed in dirt and not having enough energy to sprout. Now im not sure how true this is but he boasts 80% germination at worst and 100% at best.

Im not sure how exactly to execute the "paper towel method" as ive never done it myself. Ive just heard my friend talking about it. Probably can find something on youtube if you look

How are you germinating them? I use the paper towel method. I've never stored my seeds in the refrigerator, I keep mine in a cool, dry and dark place. I suspect if you're on day 8 they probably won't germ.

They actually popped the seed! The WW germed last night and the PL germed this morning.... they are now in soil! I have been using the paper towel method since day one and found it to be very successful.
