8 days from sprout. Do they look ok ?

yea you look fine so far but it is a long process and you have a journey ahead of you

I am a noob at growing so I had a couple of questions, if someone could please help me out. I germinated my seeds using the paper towel method and once the seeds sprouted a root about a 1/2 inch, I planted the seed under the soil about an inch deep. How long should I expect to wait before I see sign of the plant gwoing out of the soil?? So far I have waited about a week and nothing has sprouted, I'm completely unsure. Also, if some of my plants become male, is that okay to continue to grow and eventually smoke?? I'm a college student, im only looking to grow a couple of plants so I dont have to pay for buds at school all the time, it puts a hurting on the wallet and being a student im pretty much flat broke.
