7 weeks in flower, whats wrong? (PICS)

this is my FIRST grow, i have 3 plants in a small grow box and im using 9 CFL's a mix of 42W's and 27W's. all my other plants are doing good, but 1 of them has a lot of leaves that are dieing at the tips and slowly work their way back till the whole leaf dies off.....is this normal as the plant is nearing the end of flowering? also, why does this plant have so many freaking leaves? i have another plant that's the SAME TYPE and it don't have near as many leaves as this 1 does.

Sure is bro, the plant is using the nutrients it has stored in the leaves. At first glance the plant looks very normal to me. Plants in late flowering will become Nitrogen deficient as the pics show. For the lights you are using it looks like decent bud!

yea i was thinking that it was probably normal but as we all know, better safe then sorry.

but as u can see....my other plant looks nothing like that one above.
 
Those still look like great buds though guy.

This is off subject and im VERY sorry but how close did you keep the lights? Im veg'n with 9cfl 26w.
 
yeah those arent done yet but they look good!

lol is that your gas mask bong? I gotta get me one of those I love them!
 
Looks like a phosphorus deficiency to me.

Leaves will yellow off towards the end of flowering but not like that.



and yeah the gas mask is pretty cool LOL. still have mine back home from the Gulf War...
 
I'll chime in-they look great-not too much u could do at this point. next time, i would back off the N earlier-excessive leafy greens, and up the bloom-u have classic K deficiency prob with a little mg an P and as well. this is what u want ur plants to look like @ harvest-if u have more time to go-than see first sentence. check ur trichs
 
yeah it should. I've also been using Canna's PK13/14 and it definitely stops the deficiency, but damaged leaves won't recover.
 
not bad looks very delisious* selling or for you and friends? i got 8 plants and it my first but they're heathy. think 8 is to much 4 a 1st timer?

u can never have enough, the more the merrier:hump:

i had 4 but 1 finished a while ago so that ones already been smoked

Leave the leaves on. Doesn't look like anything is wrong to me. I'm not looking at it with a magnifier, but you probably could harvest that first one by the looks of it. Sometimes you can let a plant just go "too" long. You gotta find that perfect window frame to harvest. The best buzz comes better a little too soon rather than a little too late.

trichomes aren't how i want them yet so im not harvesting it. im waiting till most are amber colored.
